This weekend was so much cooler, but still humid, here in Northern Iowa. Hubby was busy finishing up a few of the things he needed to get done. So, not much done at the shop. We took out a doorway that leads to the back. It was kinda boxed in because there were 3 doors in a 3 1/2ft by 3 1/2ft area. Hubby ripped out the steps that went up to an attic space. Now we have a straight shot into the garage area. It'll be so handy when we unload in the garage.
We also got 2 new windows put in last week and start putting up electrical boxes where I'd like them to be. Here are a few pics I took
Hubs cleaning up after demo
The kitchen, utility room and bathroom. Small, but it'll work
2 new windows, they let so much light in
Still putzing away on the paint
My fish pond needs a few more limestone rocks.
A small, seasonal shop filled with primitive/country decor, antiques, seasonal items, candles, cards, florals and greens, folk art prints and soooo much more!

Ready For The Colors Of Fall
Good morning!! It's a beautiful Sunday morning! It's a bit humid, but with the estimated high at 79, I'll take it!! I was out this morning snapping a few pics of some of my flowers. Thought I would share with you!
Finally got my bittersweet planted
Very excited how well my mum came back
Love these orange zinnas
Another of my mums
Some black-eyed Susans
One of my winterberry bushes...and the boys
Black-eyed Susans cheering up my outhouse
Picked up these mums yesterday, thought up front could use some fall color
Cut oddles of broom corn the other nite. And cucumbers. This heat has pushed my broom corn ahead a month
Very excited for fall to get here....as I know, all of you are!
