I thought I would share with you a few pics of my decor at home. I know it's been quite awhile since I've been on here! We haven't had internet since we were anticipating moving over the summer and still have yet to move. We're waiting to hear today if we'll be closing next week. Living in limbo has done a number on me, let me tell you!! :)
I thought I would give you a little inspiration!
A small, seasonal shop filled with primitive/country decor, antiques, seasonal items, candles, cards, florals and greens, folk art prints and soooo much more!

Fall Gathering 2012
I'm going down my list and checking things off!! Our Fall Gathering starts Thursday and goes through Sat. Then we'll be open again next Thursday-Saturday!! 10-5 each day!! We'll be sampling dips and cider mixes. I may even sample some soups. I think it may just be chilly enough to put you in the mood :)
The shop is close to being ready. Still have a few more things to do but with this fall like weather, it's helping! But they're talking 90 tomorrow, ekk!! Guess I'll have to turn on the A/C.
We'll have tons of fall and halloween decor for your home and yard! I'm trying to get some mums to have for sale. Sorry, I don't think we'll have any pumpkins or bittersweet this year. But we do have fabric and resin pumpkins!! Atleast those won't rot :)

Monster Cookies
I know, I know, I've been MIA!! It's been a very unpredictable winter and with nice weather and then kinda crummy weather, I've been all over the place. I need to get some pics of my latest projects but tonite I was hungry for Monster Cookies so that's what we made. This recipe is a huge recipe, these would be great for a fundraiser or bake sale. I'm thinking I may whip some of these up to sell individually at the shop for our spring show!!!
Monster Cookies
1 lb margarine or butter
2 lbs. brown sugar
4 c. white sugar
12 eggs
1 tsp. salt
8 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. vanilla
3 c. mini M&M's
3 c. chocolate chip cookies
3 lb peanut butter
18 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
Mix margarine/butter, sugars, eggs, salt, baking soda, and vanilla. Add peanut butter and mix well. Stir in oatmeal by hand, mixing well. Stir in M&M's and chocolate chips by hand. Drop cookies by spoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350* for 10 mins. Don't overbake!! Yields 15-20 dozen cookies. Freezes well!!
I cut this batch down to half and we still had lots!! It helps if you kind of flatten your cookies. We also used fun easter M&M's!!
