I see I haven't posted in over 3 wks, opps!! I've been quite busy. Now that my summer open house is over, we've tore into many projects. We started demo-ing in the back of the shop. I also started painting the outside of the shop, excited for it's new reveal! I've also managed to get some more plantings put in and the arbor done. We got fish a few nites ago for the pond and started rearranging my limestone rocks for around the pond. Also have a few picked out for a foot path into the garden. It will all come together, just not quick enough, haha!!
Last weekend was city wide garage sales. I gladly got rid of several things, but also picked up a few things :) It's a disease, I can not help it. Also picked up a few things at an auction, I'll have to get pics of them later. I hope you enjoy a few shots of this and that. Have a great 4th of July weekend!!
My pile of barn doors, so many ideas!
This wall is coming out, it'll open it up quite a bit
Hoping to leave this "room"
This is where my bathroom/kitchen are going
My new paint color. I've gotten a lot done since this pic, my building is almost 100 ft long....it requires a LOT of paint!!
My new bittersweet plants
Mark brought this home yesterday, I've been wanting one so bad
Garage sale find
She's a beaut!! haha I think it would look great with a crate of flowers on the back
Garage sale find, already slapped on a coat of paint
My other garage sale find
A small, seasonal shop filled with primitive/country decor, antiques, seasonal items, candles, cards, florals and greens, folk art prints and soooo much more!

Preparing For Destruction
Yesterday is was flippin' hot here!! And very windy!! So windy that hubby and crew couldn't work up on the roof at their building site. They came into town and started cleaning out our barn. The poor thing had been let go so long before we bought this place, it's time for it to go. We've only been talking about it for 4 years. The further you go in, the more daylight you see :) Our neighbor's garage is right next to it and we joke how they have their new garage plans all drawn up, waiting for the barn to take out their current garage. I'm hoping we get this done shortly, so we avoid this!!
Here are a few pics I snapped, I already have started using some of the wood for my outhouse and have plans for a garden shed as well as a little potting shed at the shop.
I think the barn door is the only thing keeping it up right anymore
It had already started self-destructing so I've used those boards already
If they'd just put a roof on, it may still be salvagable
I have plans for these!!

Flower Boxes
Thought since I've been slacking on blogging lately, that I would show you what I've been up to. And the reason of why I'm dehydrated. I was busy planting flowers Sunday and yesterday. Wish they were fuller but they'll get there. These 90's haven't been helping. They're talking rain moving in tonite and cooling things off again, that would be great!! I'd be more productive if it'd cool off!!
And a few auction finds
Hubby picked this up for me at an auction
Already sold these at the shop!
The green has gotta go!!
The heat has kinda beat up my pansies!!
This was a surprise hubby brought home one day. Traded a guy for it, too bad the match was broke :(
Just filled the wagon, hopefully it'll fill in soon
My peonies bloomed yesterday! Love the fact that my hostas have grown so big you can barely see the air conditioning unit
The new bed I'm slowly working on. Planted coneflower behind the stone, hoping it'll peek out soon
This box works great for holding 2 flower boxes
Transformed this old freebie
Wintered over this spike, hoping to winter it every year
My clemantis is making it's way up this metal artwork. My salvia is popping too
Soon my beds will be filled in
